Who Does the Work
We're a garage door repair outfit based right here in Manhattan Beach, working out of 1112 Ocean Dr. Most of the doors we get called out to were installed on houses built between 1947 and 2012, with the bulk of that stock going up in the 1960s and 70s - you'll see the same style of section door and side-mounted torsion hardware repeated block after block. That means when we show up, we already know roughly what we're dealing with before we open the panel: original tracks that were never meant to hold a modern opener, springs sized for lighter doors than what's on some of these houses now, and hardware that nobody has manufactured in decades. We don't guess at parts. We measure, we check the door's age against what's still available, and we tell you straight if a part needs to be ordered instead of pretending we can pull it off a shelf on the spot.
Where We Work
Our home base is Manhattan Beach, and we run jobs out to the surrounding area. El Segundo is about a mile off, Playa del Rey sits roughly four miles to the north-northwest, and Lawndale is about four miles out as well. Marina del Rey runs about six miles, with West Athens, Ladera Heights, and Westmont each around seven miles away. Further out we reach View Park-Windsor Hills at about eight miles, and Palos Verdes Estates, West Rancho Dominguez, and West Carson each around nine miles. We also take calls from Lomita and Rolling Hills Estates near the ten-mile mark, Rolling Hills and Willowbrook around eleven, and out to Beverly Hills at roughly twelve miles. Vernon, Cudahy, Maywood, and Bell run between fourteen and fifteen miles, with Signal Hill, Bell Gardens, Commerce, and Topanga a bit further, and Artesia rounding it out at about twenty miles.
Getting Hold of Us
Call us at (424) 563-5925 to set up a job or ask about a door that's acting up. We're located at 1112 Ocean Dr, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, and you can find more on our homepage. If you're not sure whether your problem is a quick fix or something bigger, describe what you're hearing or seeing on the call - a grinding opener and a snapped cable are two very different jobs, and we'd rather sort that out before a truck rolls than after.
